Blog 3: The Wind That Shakes The Barley Review
I loved the art direction work but I really enjoyed this movie because of the script. Even when I couldn't stay the complete class I arrive home to finish the movie so I watched completely the same night because I couldn't wait to know what would happen to the revolution, what would they do with their country and their people. That's why I liked the movie a lot because it shows the hard task of building a new country after so much pain and deaths with the revolution process, and how this process never ends because the fight for people rights is a lifetime work.
Its hard to me find a favorite character because I feel that everyone do their part in the subject of the movie pretty well, and thinking in the brothers I don't really like the political line that Teddy takes in the history and I'm sorry for Demian but I don't like Cillian Murphy at all, so I can say that Cillian is the only thing I didn't like from the movie. My favorite scene was the one at the court because it shows the humanistic inclination of the IRA at social-political issues, but I like it even more when the strong court of IRA is represented by strong women.
