Blog 5: My Future Work

I do not really know what the future holds for me regarding work. I'm in my degree year, so I'm not as worried about the future as it is about the present. I am studying Film and Television and I'm the editor of my degree film so especially now I am very involved with the project to get it out as well as possible. But "my future work" sentence has gone through my mind on other occasions, especially last year.

Despite having an imminent fear of failure that year, right now I'm calm and happy with my future plans: I will work full time to save money and invest it in travel and personal projects that allow me to develop and finance my art. This year I got the practice in the film and digital restoration area of ​​the Cineteca Nacional, it would be ideal for me to continue working there once I complete the practice, because I would earn money on something that I like and that relates to my career, but it is not possible to keep working there, I'm not afraid to get a job on anything.

I just want to find my own tools and resources to produce my art, without feeling that I'm breaking my values ​​in order to belong to an industry that does not fit with my ideology in many ways, so I'm not afraid or shame to get a regular job or whatever to achieve this purpose in peace with myself.
