Blog N°10: English Language Challenges

In this blog, I'm going to talk about my experience learning English at the university and trough this blog activity, also, about how I experience the English language out of the classes, in my regular life.

First of all, learning English at the University has been a really helpful tool for practicing what I already know about this language, but what help me the most of the English program, was the opportunity to know in a deep way several aspects of the speaking that I couldn't develop in my day to day, especially this year, that thanks to the activities of the classes I could approach different kinds of English and understand how words, concepts, and sounds can change from one culture to another.

The blog experience is always something weird to me, because its kind of intimate but also impersonal, so I don't feel comfortable writing these entries because I never know how to start the writing and for who I'm punctually writing the blogs,  it's like speaking to an unknown audience in any sense, so I don't really know what to share or how to share these personal aspects of my life. Besides that, the blog activity is kind of interesting to me, because we can interact whit others experience at the same subject through this blogs by commenting and reading their entries, and enjoy what they have to say (or not) with pictures and images that we choose to express what we write, so that kind of creative expressions makes some fun at the blog activity to me.

In my regular life I consume a lot of English products, like movies, music, books, etc, I can say that most of the music that I hear its in English and I don't watch the movies with subtitles at Netflix or Internet, also, I have the TV always in SAP so the movies that I watch with Spanish subtitles or in Spanish are the less. This means that I practice my English listening and reading skills almost every day, but not my speaking, that's why the English program help me to remember a lot of things that I forgot in time when I have to deal English conversation, especially when I need to express ideas or feelings.
